Start of Summer Vacation
The first day of our summer vacation, Bryce and I took a walk to Douglas for some shopping and bought a cute little owl for Bryce (An early birthday present!):
We then spent the morning at Exploration Place and Bryce had A LOT of fun!:

The potty training continues....
Bryce has been potty training for awhile now and she hasn't officially been trained yet. She'll have a good day then a bad day. But we have realized that she uses the potty the most when she is naked! Kyle realized this one night when he was in charge of her. The last two nights she has come home and taken her pants and diaper off and used the potty. She then wonders around the house naked doing her thing. Tonight she ate dinner, cuddled on the couch with me watching Spongebob, helped me cook dinner and shared a bowl of icecream with me all naked from the waist down! :) She then frequents the potty and goes everytime! It may be strange, but it's working! I'm hoping we are officially potty-TRAINED soon!

Mother's Day Toes!
My mom, Bryce and I got our toes done for Mother's Day. It was Bryce's first time! She sat so still the entire time. She got to sit against a giant panda bear to get her toes over the edge of the pedicure chair. I think she wanted to take the bear home. :) She ended up choosing a BRIGHT orange (the first color she saw) with white flowers on her big toes. She is so proud of them!

Bryce's FIRST swim lesson
Bryce started swim lessons tonight! She was so excited! She went with her teacher all by herself and followed every direction. Here are a few pictures Kyle took while I sat in the "Parent Meeting". (We didn't get to meet her swim teacher this session, so we will meet her on Thursday.)
She is such a big girl! :)
Wearing her new swimsuit and "swim jacket", ready for the pool!
Sitting so nicely on the side of the pool, waiting for directions.
What a natural! :)
Her first swim lesson is done! She's ready to go back again on Thursday!

LeeAnn's first Half-Marathon
I ran my first Half-Marathon yesterday (May 1, 2011). It felt great! I am very surprised that my knee (which had been giving me problems after running about 3 miles) didn't seem to borrow me at all. I was a little sore last night, but I feel great today! I'm ready to start training for the full marathon in October! If I don't do the full, I will be running another half and want me to beat my time of 4:11:29! Thanks to all that helped me get here and who rooted me on while I ran! I'm truly blessed!
