Bryce is a ONE YEAR OLD!!

I'm sorry it has been so long since I last updated! :( I kind of forgot! Here is Bryce's 1 year old pictures from Clix in Derby. I love them! She has grown such a great personality and is a blast to be around! :)

Picnic at the park

We decided to have our FIRST picnic at Riverside park. Daddy picked up Arby's and met us at the park. Brycee and mommy walked there. It was a little chilly! :) We had lots of fun and hope to have many more picnics at the park.

Sorry, it's been so long!

A lot has happened since my last post. Bryce is crawling and NOW pulling herself up in her crib and pack-n-play. She thinks she is so big! Here is some pictures:

Bryce is 9 months old!

So, Bryce visited the doctor for her 9 month check-up on Monday. She is a very healthy girl. She is in the 40% for weight and the 25% for height. She's probably going to be a little short! :)
She does still have fluid in her right ear from her ear infection, but the doctor isn't going to worry about it unless it starts bugging her again.

Next week is BUSY!

We are getting ready for a busy spring break! Bryce has her 9 month dr appointment on Monday afternoon, physical therapy on Wednesday morning and her 9 month pictures on Thursday. We are also going to spend time at the park, zoo and anywhere else that I think of! :) It's Bryce's FIRST spring break and my FIRST as a mommy! :)

Bryce is crawling!!! (Finally!!)

Last Thursday night, I was watching Bryce play on the floor and I thought that I saw her crawl a little bit. I wasn't sure, because right after she got fussy and went to bed. The next day, Bryce went to school with me for duty day and I put her on the floor to play and she CRAWLED to get a toy! It was the cutest thing! She does a mixture of army crawling and knees, but mostly army crawling. She's not too fast yet and will sometimes still roll to get something, but she IS crawling! :)

Cousin Treydon's 1st Birthday Party

Bryce and mommy went to Treydon's first birthday party yesterday. We had lots of fun, even though Bryce wanted to get down and crawl around but couldn't...:) After Treydon fell asleep in the swing for awhile, we ate pizza and opened presents. Treydon loved his cake and got quite messy! :) I can't believe he is already 1 and that Bryce is next! Here's a few pictures:

Girls' Day!

Bryce and I had a girls' day today! We woke up and ate some yummy mixed cereal with peaches...YUM! Next it was nap time for Bryce and I'll admit I caught a few zzz myself. Then, we were off to the zoo! We spent an hour at the zoo. It was soo nice! Bryce really likes the jungle. There are so many noises, smells and animals in there! We left the zoo and headed to Old Navy where we bought some clothes for cousin Treydon's birthday and an outfit and mini football for Brycee. We went to Target next and bought a few more things for Treydon. It was a very fun day and Bryce was in a GREAT mood the entire time! :)

Bryce really misses watching outside from the Haysville window seat. They best thing we can do for her at the new house, is put her in her saucer in front of the front door. It works for now. :)

Play Time

Bryce has so many toys to choose from but she always wants to play with things that are NOT toys. :) For instance, she loves remotes and magazines. Here are some pictures:

Last night I went in to check on Bryce and saw that she was sleeping with her head propped up on the side of her crib. Her head kept bopping up and down, but she wasn't moving. I helped her lay down flat and she slept the whole night. Look how cute she is!

It's time for a walk!

Bryce loves to take walks! Which makes moving to our new house in Riverside that much greater! We can walk to the park or we can just walk in the neighborhood and admire all the cool old houses. These pictures are from a recent walk that we took in the neighborhood. Brycee is wearing her pajamas because she chose to get her clothes dirty before bed. :)

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!

Today is Bryce's FIRST Valentine's Day! She really enjoyed opening her own Valentine's gift from gramma and poppy!

She will open her gifts from mommy and daddy tonight when daddy gets home from the church work day. I sure do love this little girl!! :)

We finally moved in!

We moved into our Riverside house about a week ago. We love it! Almost everything is unpacked and now we have to decide what and where to hang stuff on the walls. Brycee loves her new room and her playroom. She also likes to play with the empty boxes!

We are getting very close to moving into our new house!! I'm so excited! I need to get my booty in gear and start packing! I'll add new photos and keep you updated!

Bryce is 7 months old!!

Brycee went to the doctor yesterday for her "6 month appointment" a month later. The doctor told us to wait awhile so he could check her ears after her ear infection. She has a clean bill of health. She weighed in at 16.8 pounds which is in the 38% percentile and is 25 1/2 inches, 19 percentile. The doctor said that more than likely Bryce will be short like me... :) She was already really tired due to missing her afternoon nap, so the shots were pretty brutal! She has some lungs on her!

When we got home we decided to put Brycee into her pjs for bedtime, since it was already 6:00. In the process of dressing her, she threw up all over herself and me! It was very stinky and a lot! I thought maybe it was from the shots, so I cleaned her up and put her to bed. She slept the whole night without a peep. In the morning, I woke her up and noticed more vomit in her crib and she had a very nasty diaper. Long story short, Bryce stayed home with me today. Bryce has a history of getting sick AFTER we have went to the doctor! :) She was very whiney today and slept most of the day. She seems a little better tonight, so I hope we are out of the woods. I hate to see her hurting and not know how to help her.

First trip to KC

We took the little one to Kansas City for the first time last weekend. Kyle's friend Melissa got married. The wedding was beautiful! Bryce was a little wiggly and didn't get her afternoon nap. She wasn't too bad and she didn't let out any LOUD squeals, just a few little ones. The wedding wasn't too long, but I knew Bryce wasn't going to make it long at the reception without some kind of meltdown. I brought her back to the hotel by 7:00 and she was out by 7:30! I was glad she was asleep, but I was bored! Our hotel TV was not working and I didn't have anything to read, so I went to bed too! :) Daddy had a late night and didn't get home until around 3:00! Brycee did sleep pretty good all night, even with the horns and people yelling outside (We were downtown!) and the constant humming from the elevator!
