Naps are a very important thing at this house. It may be more important to me than to Bryce. I love naps! I would nap every day if I could. :) Bryce is usually a great napper too. Lately, she has had other plans. Last Saturday, she danced, sang and played through nap time. Sunday we had a showing so I tried to put her down for a fast nap, but that didn't work out. Monday was President's Day and I thought she was going to not nap again. But she surprised me and fell asleep around 4:30. Tuesday we had to stay home due to my sister's kids were throwing up and she played, sang and danced through another nap time. Yesterday, my mom watched Bryce and she didn't sleep there either! Today, I was going to give it another try. I decided to lay her down later than normal and see if that helped. It did! She was out like a light 5 minutes after laying her down! :) Welcome back NAP TIME!

I may be a 1 kid kind of mom...
Today it was just me and Bryce. My neice has been throwing up for days now and I don't want Bryce to catch it, so she stayed home with me. (Kyle wasn't able to keep her and mom watched her yesterday!)
After a walk to Exploration Place's Park, I was doing some thinking on the way back. While Bryce was talking away, I started to think about my single stroller and what I would do with it if we had another baby. Would I take the new baby in the single and live Bryce at home? (I really don't know if I'm strong enough to push a double stroller and B is getting bigger and heavier!) This made me sad. I've done EVERYTHING with Bryce. We are like 2 peas in a pod, my little shadow. I can't imagine leaving her with someone else and taking another baby somewhere without her. Don't get be wrong I want more kids, lots actually, but I would hate for Bryce to think I don't want her to be with me or to think she is not special. I guess we will have to see... God has a plan and I just need to sit back and see what happens!
I also have decided that my calling is to be a stay at home mom. I love the days when I get to stay home with Bryce. These days are not "easier" or quieter. But they are more fun! I get to watch Bryce learn new things and say new funny things. I hate that I miss so much throughout the work days. I know I'm lucky that I get to spend many holidays, Spring Break, Christmas Break and Summer with her, but I don't know if it's enough! It makes me sad to think that she will soon be off to school and I won't have a reason to "stay home" with her. If we have more kids, then it could be a possibility, but with just her my days are dwindling away...
I feel so blessed to have Bryce in my life and I don't know what I would do without her!

Happy President's Day!
I enjoyed a great President's Day with Bryce today. We didn't do anything very "President-y" and I don't even think I told Bryce that today was President's Day. (Bad mom! and Bad Teacher!) But I love the days when I get to stay home just me her and I. We got to actually attend a weekday Strollers in Motion class this morning. I love Monday SIM class! There is so many more mommies! After that, we joined the Ree Family at Exploration Place (see previous post!). After all that fun, we headed home for lunch and a quick Shirley Temple movie with coloring and then naptime. Naptime has been a struggle at the Banick house lately! Bryce didn't fall asleep until after 4! I didn't want to give up because she NEEDED a nap! :) (And she didn't take a nap Saturday or Sunday!) I let her sleep until dinner. (Which she didn't touch. I hope she is not getting sick!) The evening has consisted of watching Tangled and Beauty and the Beast! I love snuggling on the couch with my little one watching a a movie! It was a great day off and I can't wait for the next one!!
HAPPY PRESIDENT'S DAY!!
We love our Rees!
Bryce and I spent the morning at Exploraion Place with Cassie, Jersie and Davin. We love hanging out with them! Bryce and Jersie get along so great and they are fun to watch. Davin is adorable and serious about his playing. :) Here's some pics of our fun:

I am so thankful!
I am so thankful for so many things these days. I thought I would list them out for a reminder when times seem tougher.
1. I am thankful for a talkative, active little girl that keeps me busy and laughing. My life would be so boring without her. She is definantly a blessing!
3. I am thankful for an amazing husband that takes great care of Bryce and I. He works his tail off both at work and home. He never stops moving!
3. I am thankful for a job that also keeps me busy and lets me enjoy children. Being a teacher is the only job for me. Even though some days I want to do something less "stressful", it is who I am.
4. I am thankful for great friends and family that keep me happy. There is always someone there to make me laugh or smile!
5. Last but definantly not least!, I am thankful for our God! He is the reason for all these blessings and I would have nothing without Him. I just have to remember (when times get tough), He has a plan and He knows what he is doing!
Happy Sunday! God bless you!

My little girl isn't so little anymore!
I was searching for a new desktop background for my laptop and came across this picture:
How cute is she?! :) I can't believe that this picture was taken over 2 years ago! She has really turned into a beautiful, funny, loving little girl! Brycee, I love you!!
