Sad day

A little (almost 2 year old) girl went to heaven tonight.  She had been fighting leukemia since she was 9 months old.  I have followed this story from the beginning.  Her daddy went to school with Kyle.  I just couldn't imagine what her parents are going through.  My heart just breaks.  The only thing that makes me feel better is knowing that she is now free of pain and machines and is playing with Jesus.  I know that Patsy (Kyle's mom) is probably "playing" right there with her.  Please say an extra prayer tonight for the Pearson family.

We love Beauty and the Beast!

Often, we break into a Beauty and the Beast dance session.  Bryce an I join hands and dance back and forth singing "Tale as old as time.  Beauty and the Beast."  Well, today while hanging out with daddy at Wichita Brewing Company (daddy was brewing) Bryce wanted to have another dance session.  After singing the only 2 lines we know :), Bryce asked me "You don't know the rest of the words?" I laughed and said "Nope.  I guess I need to listen to the CD more."  While driving home and listening to our Princess CD.  We had to play the "Rising in the Beast" song. (She calls this song this because that is what she thinks it says instead of "Rising in the EAST".  It makes me laugh every time and I have told her many times what it REALLY says but she doesn't agree!)  After the song is over Bryce says "Mommy, Mrs. Potts knows the words!"  :)
