Great Grandma Rogers' Birthday Party
We were invited to Great Grandma and Grandpa's to celebrate my grandma's birthday. We had so much fun! Bryce loves playing with her cousins and she had a lot of fun playing with her second cousins too!
LeeAnn has returned to school!
Well, I 've started my 2nd year in First grade and my 8th year teaching. So far I am very happy with my class. I don't know if it is because I have a brand new bunch (instead of my same class due to looping) or if it is this bunch of kids! I do miss my kids from the previous 2 years. We grew so close! (Too close for some!:)) I hope I stay this positive all year...let the fun begin!
Picture taken Open House night. (Not the best, but it shows me in action! :))
Back to School, Back to Babysitter
Bryce and I are so lucky to have (Aunt) Kimmy as her babysitter this year! Bryce was going to start at a Child Care Center but I wasn't 100% ok with her going there. (I don't know why!) So when Kimmy had to stay home with her kids, I jumped on the idea of her watching Bryce. It was the best for both families! She was making extra money and Bryce was getting to hang out with family almost every day! Bryce LOVES it and I do too! It's fun to see my nieces and nephew every morning and every night, even though some nights it is hard to leave their house! :) I am so grateful that this oppurtunity came along! THANKS KIMMY (and kids!) FOR LETTING BRYCE JOIN YOU EVERY WEEKDAY! :)
They do so many fun things while I'm at school. Here's some pictures from the first day Bryce was there!

~This Moment~
{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

LeeAnn's 2nd Half Marathon
The family woke up at 4:00 am this Saturday and headed to Marion Lake. The race started at 6:30 am. So after I registered and headed toward the start line, Kyle and Bryce went off to find some breakfast. :) There was only 63 runners, so I was super nervous that I would get lost! Thank goodness they had bright green arrows to follow! :) The beginning miles were on dirt/gravel roads into the city. Once I got into the city, I saw Kyle and Bryce at a corner. It was great to see them and find out that there were people behind me!
The race went surprisingly well. I felt great. The last miles were mainly up hills, so that was the toughest part of the race. I finished in 1:58 minutes. (31/63)Much faster than my first half in May!
Bryce and Kyle enjoyed some fun Marion spots, while I was running.
We skipped going to KC and the waterpark since we were all tired and cranky! We made it home around 11 and all crashed. I didn't wake until 4, while Kyle and B were up around 2. :)
Not a bad Saturday!!
Bryce is a cow???
We decide to take a walk to Braums for some icecream one day. Bryce decided that she HAD to wear her cow costume there. Who knows?? It was hot, but she had to keep her hood/head on the whole way! I thank God for a very active, FUNNY little girl every day!!
Enjoy these pictures from our trip!
MOOOOOOO! :)

Bryce learns the letter Aa
Bryce has been learning about the letter A the last 2 weeks. We have done many fun things and have more planned for the rest of the week. Here are a few things we have done to help B learn the letter A.
Captital A- A is for Alligator
Lower-case a: a is for apple
Our letter Aa area! We are starting an alphabet wall. I'm hoping that our next house will actually have a wall to hang up all the letters. Her playroom now is full of windows! :)
A little Aa coloring paper
Aa Activites for the rest of the week: an apple snack, painting with apples, bingo dapper Aa paper, find As while we drive, walk, run!
