Every time we go to the zoo, Bryce really wants to ride the train. I usually say no because I like to walk and I secretly knew that she wouldn't want to stay on for very long. I finally caved and we got on the train for the first time in the end of March. She was so excited! We did have to wait for almost 10 minutes before the train took off, but it was worth it! She had a giant smile on her face the whole time. The train took us by the giraffes, elephants and hippos. There is another train stop right in front of the hippos, and I asked her if she wanted to stay on or get off. She of course said she wanted to get off! It was a short train ride, but it was so worth it to see her beautiful smile! :)
Bryce had so much fun learning about colors of the rainbow this morning! She got to pour each color of the rainbow sand into a test tube to take home. I think this was her FAVORITE part! She has shaken/carried it around today so much that it is no longer a rainbow but a mixture of colors. :) She also got to play with food coloring in shaving creme to turn primary colors into secondar colors (and bring it home!) and then she got to put food coloring in frosting to dip pretzels in. YUM! The best $5 I have spent!
