We had a few nice weather days in February, so here's a few park pictures:

Bryce's first time bowling

We took Bryce bowling for the first time tonight.  She only lasted 6 rounds (are they called rounds??) before wanting to stop and go home.  :)  I knew she wouldn't make it through one game, but Kyle bought 2 games!!  Thank goodness we got our money back for the second game.  I believe she had fun, but it was a long night!

Of course Kyle won, Bryce took second (with bumpers and her daddy bowling the rest of her game) and I brought up the rear! :)

Funny Things said by Brycee this week

1. After I asked Bryce if the star on her new Ocean movie looked like Patrick from Spongebob, she tells me "No, Patrick is a boy, mommy! And Spongebob is a girl!"

2. "Huh, look at that tree.  Monkeys climb trees, mommy.  I a monkey?  No I not monkey.  I don't climb trees!"

3. "My new house is a mess.  There hole in floor.  I lose my shoe in the hole."  Yes, our new house needs lots of work!  Yes, there is a hole in the upstairs floor.  No, she didn't lose her shoe.  But, I did tell her NOT to lose her shoe in the hole.

Valentine's weekend in KC

I ran a 4 mile race in Kansas City on Sunday. (The Love to Run race) The whole family came along! We spent the night at a hotel on Saturday night. It was not a fun night for all of us. :( Kyle started feeling sick on the drive there and ended up going to bed at 7:30 and sleeping until 7:30 the next morning. If you know Kyle then you know that NEVER happens! Bryce and I stayed up to 9:30 watching the 40 year-old virgin. (Well, I watched while Bryce played with EVERYTHING!) We got to race on time and it was a fun race. I ended up finishing in 37:26. Not bad, but not my best! For those that don't know, I'm training for a half-marathon in May! :) Here's some pictures from our weekend!

Bryce loved our hotel room!

What a fun weekend, even though Kyle was sick!
